About Me
I bring mature insights girded with experience and training in rich settings and varied venues.  While I maintain an active counseling practice, I make time to work with other professionals to achieve improved business results and work on honing their skills.
My orientation towards counseling utilizes a family systems/family of origin approach.  Some might say I am more Solution Focused based on the amount of between session home work I expect from my clients, whether individual, couples or business coaching clients. I am also trained in hypnotism and many people find this very helpful for resolving specific issues.
 My multi-disciplined training includes:
Master of Arts in Human Services with a concentration in Counseling from St.
 Edward's University, Austin, Texas.
Master of Science in Management Science from School of Management - SUNY
 Binghamton.
Trained in Hypnotism and Certified ICBCH Clinical Hypnotherapist
Trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (Meridian Tapping)

Masters Certificate in Project Management, George Washington University
Trained Facilitator through IBM using the Achieving Change Together method.

My personal experience includes over 32 years in high tech involving key positions in management, business planning, finance, and project management.
Other relevant experience includes:
The Samaritan Center for Pastoral Counseling
Charter Behavioral Hospital
Senior Connections
Austin Academy for Individual and Relationship Counseling
Hospice Austin
Payment Options
While I accept many insurance plans, many clients choose to private pay.

Tools and Approaches

My flexible approach to counseling and consulting considers your unique needs.  It is important that we connect and can work together, so I do not expect counseling clients to enter into formal contracts.  I do have expectations on what an Ideal Client would be.  That includes committing to the Process, doing assigned work, and honoring time commitments.

Approaches I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral, Family of Origin Work, Brief Therapy, Christian / Spiritual Counseling, Hypnotism and EFT/Meridian Tapping.
